Where every Kashmir holiday begins.
Glide across Dal Lake by shikara, stay on a carved houseboat, stroll the Mughal gardens and explore Srinagar's old city, the starting point of most Kashmir holidays.

Pahalgam is a riverside town in south Kashmir, roughly 2,100-2,200 m up, and the base for Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. You can go rafting, pony riding and walking among the pines.
About 90–95 km from Srinagar, roughly 2.5–3 hours.
Most trips start at Srinagar airport. On the way up the Lidder valley you pass our office, so say hi on the way.
